ALBUQUERQUE (AP) — New Mexico coach Mike Locksley says quarterback B.R. Holbrook will undergo exploratory surgery on his left knee. Holbrook, who started the Lobos' first two games, sat out last weekend's 56-14 loss to Utah and will miss Saturday's game at UNLV. His status beyond that is undetermined.

ALBUQUERQUE —  It's probably too soon to say the volleyball tide has shifted in the Rio Grande Rivalry between New Mexico Lobos and New Mexico State Aggies, but the Lobos have the bragging rights for the second straight season. The Lobos rallied from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to dominate the fourth and fifth games Tuesday night at Johnson Center for a 3-2 win.
