The Los Alamos Police Department is investigating a series of taggings or graffiti along Trinity Drive Wednesday.

Vandals allegedly hit the Shriners Lodge, 1407 Trinity Drive, Elks Lodge, 1600 Trinity Drive, the Zia Realty truck parked behind the Shriners and some transformers located near the Shell Station, 2591 Trinity Drive.

“Hopefully we can figure this out before they tag everything in town,” LAPD Cpl. David Boe said.

Acting police chief Phil Taylor said Thursday morning it was an active investigation and there were no suspects.

The owner of the truck is Zia Realty’s James Chrobocinski and he announced Thursday that he is offering a reward leading to the arrest of the people responsible.

“My insurance does not cover the damage and we estimate the repairs to cost close to $3,000. I put all the logos on myself and will have to redo it myself,” Chrobocinski said in an email.

“I am very disappointed to have this sort of thing happen in Los Alamos. I hope our police department is able to catch these people and prevent this sort of thing from happening to anyone else. “
