County Council

County Council will meet for the first time in 2014 at 7 p.m. Jan. 7 in council chambers in the Municipal Building.

Lights out

The Los Alamos County Traffic & Streets Division will be turning off the power to various streetlights to enhance the viewing of holiday farolitos. The streetlights will be turned off Tuesday, Dec. 24 and will be restored on Thursday, Dec. 26.
The streets that will be affected include: Barranca Mesa: Barranca Rod, Los Pueblos (including side streets), San Juan, Totavi, Navajo Road. North Mesa: Camino Redondo, Camino Medio and Cumbres Patio. White Rock: Canada Way, Canada Circle, Balboa Drive, Alhambra Drive, Barcelona, Brighton Drive and Briston Place.
