Adult racquetball league registration open at YMCA

The Family YMCA of Los Alamos is currently accepting registrations for its adult racquetball league.

The league is open to anyone ages 16 and over. Players can arrange their own match times during the week.

Several matches are guaranteed throughout the season, which runs from Feb. 9-April 19. The season will end in a tournament.

Price for participation is $27 for YMCA members, $43 for non-members. Registration closes. Feb. 21. Registration can be done at the YMCA or online.

Gymnastics school will host meet Jan. 30

The Los Alamos School of Gymnastics will host its 24th annual Snowflake Invitational Jan. 30.

Teams from Taos, Albuquerque and Santa Fe are scheduled to attend the meet.

The event will be held at LASG. Session 1 (levels 7-10) will start at 8:30 a.m., session 2 (levels 3 and 5) will start at 12:30 p.m. and session 3 (levels 4 and 6) will start at 4:30 p.m.

‘Simpsons’ documentary to feature Isotopes Park

Isotopes Park will be featured in the upcoming documentary “The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!”

The documentary, about the television show “The Simpsons,” will air Sunday on KASA Fox 2 starting at 7:30 p.m.

The documentary is directed by Morgan Spurlock.

Isotopes Park is the home of the Albuquerque Isotopes baseball team, Triple-A franchise of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
