Norman/Matteson win at LAGC

The team of Curt Norman and Richard Matteson cruised to a win in the top flight of the Labor Day Slugfest golf tournament.
The Slugfest is the last major event of the year hosted by Los Alamos Golf Course.
Norman/Matteson had a two-shot lead in the best-ball tournament after day one, then added to its lead shooting a combined 60 in day two
The Norman/Matteson team topped runners-up Jamie Aslin and Larry Rich by five strokes to win the first flight.
In all, 24 two-person teams took part in the tournament Labor Day weekend.
