Los Alamos County Firefighters certainly deserve all my respect

-A A +A

On Valentine’s Day, I experienced a bad fall off my horse in Potrillo Canyon.
With a broken hip, I needed help fast.
Here is where Los Alamos County Fire Department firefighters from Station 3 in White Rock came to my rescue – not only quickly, but also expediently.
They lifted me in a Stokes Litter and rolled and pulled me out with the help of an ATV.
All the time I was treated with the utmost care.
I want to thank the rescue crew for all their help. It is obvious that with such expertise, the firefighters deserve all of my respect.
They are a real asset to our community.
