Good News Club to be offered

-A A +A

Children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to the Good News Club once a week after school.
The club meets until 5 p.m.

The Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship, in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes, and just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission.

Each week, the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.

This fun, weekly after-school activity promotes children’s education, spiritual and character development.

It is entirely free and voluntary.

The club starts on the following days:

• Mondays at Aspen School library: staring Sept. 10

• Mondays at Mountain Elementary, room 404 (Mrs. Schaefer’s room): starts Sept. 10

• Tuesdays at Piñon Elementary, room 606 (science lab): starts Sept. 11

• Thursdays at Barranca Mesa Elementary, music room: starts Sept. 13

• Thursdays at Chamisa Elementary School, library: starts Sept. 13
