Chit-Chat Infant and Toddler Discussion Group from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at Family Strengths Network, 3540 Orange St. This group offers parents/caretakers of babies and expectant parents the opportunity to connect and explore timely topics. This group is meant to be a quieter space. Infants up through walking are welcome.
Farmers Market from 8 a.m.-noon in Fuller Lodge. EBT and double-up food bucks are accepted. Call 929-6579 for information.

Night with a Nerd from 7-8:30 p.m. at Fuller Lodge. Dr. Tim Koeth will be in Los Alamos to share his presentation, “The Physicists in the Basement of the High Castle,” at the BSMA’s first 2019 Night with a Nerd event. The presentation is free for Bradbury Science Museum Association members and begins at 7 p.m. For nonmembers, the cost is $10, and you can join the BSMA online if you’d like. A members-only reception begins at 5:30 p.m., details can be found at bradburyassociation.org. Register as space is limited.
Gentle Walk at 9 a.m. at the Nature Center. A gentle walk for which the emphasis is on discovery, not mileage gained. Free. More information at peecnature.org.

Tour of the Solar System at 7 p.m. at the Nature Center. Get up close and personal with some of the solar system’s most exotic destinations. Astronomer Rick Wallace will be the evening’s pilot and tour guide. Don’t miss this exciting expedition into the solar system’s countless wonders and mysteries! Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children.
Feature Film: National Parks Adventure at 2 p.m. at the Nature Center. Enjoy incredible views and stories form America’s national parks. This film is brought to Los Alamos by our sponsors: CB Fox, Metzger’s Hardware, and the Delle Foundation with additional funding from the Manhattan Project National Historical Park. 2:00 PM Admission: $6/adult, $4/child.
