“Big Night” screening

  Mesa Public Library free film series will screen “Big Night,” at 6:30 p.m. tonight in the upstairs meeting rooms.

‘Topper Review this weekend

  ’Topper Review will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Duane Smith Auditorium.

Enjoy some miniature golf

 Assets in Action presents the 19th Hole, an indoor miniature golf event from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday residents can golf through local businesses to raise funds and awareness for the Assets program. The Best Western, Metzger’s, CB Fox, Visitor’s Center, YMCA, senior centers are participating in the program. The Bandelier Grill, Home Run Pizza in White Rock and White Rock Visitor’s Center. PEEC field trip

  Join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center for a field trip to see New Mexico’s specialty birds. The group will meet at Bernardo Wildlife Refuge just 17 miles south of Belen. After an auto tour of Bernardo, drive to the Bosque with a picnic lunch to be eaten there. Then join a guided tour of the Bosque refuge at 1 p.m. Saturday. Honor Society rummage sale

  The Los Alamos High School National Honor Society, Natural Helpers and Key Club are hosting a rummage sale to raise money for earthquake relief aid in Haiti. The sale will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. Donations can be dropped off at the high school main office Friday.
