Rib dinner tonight

  Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps will host a rib night from 5-8 p.m. tonight at the Posse Lodge. The menu includes pork ribs, corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans, dessert and a drink. The fee is $10 and proceeds will benefit the NJROTC’s activities.

Guitars and Gateaux

  Los Alamos Arts Council’s Guitars and Gateaux series will present The Albuquerque Honors Guitar Quartet at 7 p.m. tonight at Fuller Lodge. Music begins at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for council members and $15 for non-members.

PEEC class tonight

  The Pajarito Environmental Education Center’s class, “Genetic Diversity of Food Plants Through Time,” was canceled because of snow, so it is scheduled to be held from 7-9 p.m. tonight at PEEC, 3540 Orange St. The class will begin by discussing hunter-gatherers and continue through agricultural development, to professional crop breeding and modern times. New registrants should call PEEC at 662-0460 or register at PajaritoEEC.org.

Big MAC ice skating party

  Big MAC, the Middle School Activities Committee, with the Recreation Division, are hosting its annual Ice Skating Party for middle school youth only. It will be held from 7–10 p.m. Friday. The fee is $6.50, which includes skates. No skate passes, please. Big MAC is sponsored by the Youth Activity Center, a program of the Los Alamos Family Council.

Don’t miss “Twelve Angry Men”

  Los Alamos Little Theater presents “Twelve Angry Men” at 8 p.m. at the theater. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for seniors and students.

‘Topper Review Friday

   ’Topper Review will be held at 7 p.m.Friday  at the Duane Smith Auditorium.
