All three games the 'Toppers boys soccer team played in its home tournament were close, but the 'Toppers won all three to calim the Louie Cernicek championship.
Los Alamos beat Bosque, 2-1, Saturday night to clinch the title. It was the team's third straight victory by the same score.
After a scoreless first half, DC Kim gave Los Alamos the lead with a long goal in the second. Eric Burnside added a late score to put Los Alamos up, 2-0. Bosque cut the lead in half with a goal on a penalty kick, but Los Alamos held on to win the game.
Los Alamos also beat Clovis and Goddard, 2-1, during the tournament.
