The Los Alamos boys soccer team and Bosque Prep will meet for the second time this season tonight.
After tying 2-2 on Tuesday, the two teams will play again in the championship game of Los Alamos' Louie Cernicek Tournament. The game will kick off at 6 p.m.
After beating Clovis in overtime, 2-1, Los Alamos scored another 2-1 victory in the semifinals against Goddard.
Los Alamos fired shot after shot on goal, but Goddard's goalkeeper Miguel Robles made some incredible diving saves to keep the Rockets in the game.
Joe Singleton scored in the first half for Los Alamos and it remained 1-0 until the 79th minute. Los Alamos' George Steinkamp then took an Eric Burnside pass and knocked it in the goal to put Los Alamos up by two.
Less than 20 seconds later, Goddard got on the scoreboard, but the final whistle blew before Goddard had a chance to tie it.
Bosque beat Santa Fe Prep and Roswell to reach the championship game.
