    In their first home event of the season, the Los Alamos Hilltopper tennis squads earned a split with the visiting St. Michael’s Horsemen.The ’Topper girls, playing primarily at Mesa courts behind Sullivan Field, topped the Horsemen 6-3 in team competition, while the ’Topper boys fell to the Horsemen boys 6-3.     If nothing else Tuesday, Los Alamos got a glimpse of what it will have to do to compete at a high level in Class AAAA.The Hilltopper softball team was whacked in their home opener by the Belen Eagles Tuesday. Belen pushed eight runs across in a 20-minute fourth inning, sending 12 hitters to the plate to break open the game.
