Basketball skills clinics continuing at YMCA
The Family YMCA of Los Alamos will host basketball skills clinics this Saturday and next Saturday.
The basketball skills clinics are scheduled from 9-11 a.m. Nov. 15 and Nov. 22. They are primarily for those registered for the YMCA youth basketball program, but those interested in playing in the program that haven’t registered are also welcomed.
The clinics are designed to help youth with basic skills such as passing, dribbling and shooting. They are for players with little-to-no previous experience.

Turkey Trot returns Nov. 23
The annual CROP Walk/Turkey Trot is scheduled for Nov. 23. The event will start at Los Alamos Middle School.
The Turkey Trot is for any interested participants. Participants my choose to walk or run a 1.7-mile or a 2.5-mile course.
All participants are also eligible to win turkeys and pumpkin pies in a random drawing.
Registrations will take place at 1 p.m. at LAMS and the Turkey Trot will start at 2 p.m.
