Animas River: The flow is 2,210 cfs. The river is muddy and still flowing fast with runoff. No fishing report.
Chama River: Upper section flow is 411 cfs. and below El Vado, the flow is 412 cfs. Fishing is slow in the upper Chama with woolly buggers and various bead-headed nymphs reported to be working best. Below El Vado, trout fishing is fair using Panther Martins and Z-rays for browns and salmon eggs for 13-15 inch rainbows.
