    SANTA FE (AP) — Three federal judges from New Mexico have been named to consider a lawsuit over new districts for the state House of Representatives.

    The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday appointed appellate Judge Harris Hartz and District Judges Bruce Black and William Johnson to hear the case.

    Cimarron River: No read on flows due to ice.
    Clayton Lake: Closed for the season and will reopen next spring.
    Conchas Lake: Fishing pressure has been slow due to cold temperatures and wind.
    Costilla Creek: No report.
    Coyote Creek: Closed for the season.
    Eagle Nest Lake: 15 inches of ice. Fishing is good for yellow perch and rainbows caught with Power Bait, meal worms, night crawlers and salmon eggs suspended at about mid level. Fishing pressure is up when the wind dies down.

    WRLL registration opening

    White Rock Little League will hold four registration sessions for its upcoming season starting next week.

    Registration sessions will be at Time Out Pizza in White Rock from 6-8 p.m. They are scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday, Feb. 27 and Feb. 29.

    LALL meeting is Tuesday


    Los Alamos Little League is holding a planning meeting Tuesday at Mesa Public Library.

    The meeting will be in the upstairs rotunda of the library and starts at 6 p.m. Anyone interested in coaching or volunteering with LALL is encouraged to attend.
