To say the least, it was a long day Wednesday for State Rep. Jim Hall (R-Los Alamos, Sandoval, and Santa Fe).
A House redistricting plan that would keep Los Alamos intact won approval early Thursday in the 70-member chamber and Gov. Susana Martinez made it clear she doesn’t support the proposal.
The measure passed on a 36-34 vote with one Democrat breaking party ranks to join Republicans in opposing the plan.
Hall did not support or vote in favor of the measure either, but it pained him.
