Following months of construction, Los Alamos High School students have a new building, but the ongoing construction around the district is far from over.
At Tuesday night’s school board meeting, LAPS Bond and Construction Administrator Herb McLean gave board members an update on projects around the district.
Despite the newly constructed building at LAHS, work is still being done on campus. According to McLean’s report, due to heat issues in the lobby of the gym, the glass was found to not meet specifications. As a result, Flintco began replacing the glass on weekends and should wrap up the project by Sunday.
