When we don’t forgive, it can hurt us. At 6:07 p.m. Sunday evening, during Contemporary Worship at Trinity on the Hill Espiscopal Church, Father Colin Kelly will begin a three-session teaching series about forgiveness and the healing impact it can have in our lives.
Grudges, hurt feelings and thoughts of vengeance, when nurtured over a long period of time, can lead to serious health problems. Mayoclinic.com mentions some of these health problems: stress, higher blood pressure, depression, anxiety or hostility, substance abuse, even chronic pain.

“A friend asked me if I spoke in tongues. I have heard of this but am unaware of what it actually is and if it is something I should do.”
— Mike
The New Testament gives several accounts of people who, when “filled with the Spirit,” spoke in a language that was not their own. In one instance, this language (actually, languages spoken by several different people) were known languages recognized by others for whom the language was native. This is the well-known event at Pentecost (Acts 2:1-12).
“The Bible speaks of the devil and accords him some power. But, does he know what I am thinking?" — Dana
We get a sense of the devil’s nature by perusing some of the names used of him in Scripture: Tempter (Mt. 4:1ff), Adversary (I Pet. 5:8), Destroyer (Rev. 9:11), Accuser (Rev. 12:10), Murderer (Jn. 8:44), Prince of This World (Jn. 14:30) and Ruler of Darkness (Eph. 6:12).
