  • WWE comes to Rio Rancho

    The WWE Raw Smackdown Supershow makes its Santa Ana Star Center debut at 3 p.m. Sunday.  There is currently a Double Main Event scheduled that will feature six WWE Superstars in a Six Man Tag Team Match and a Submission Match for the WWE Championship.   • Rebooting 'Spider-Man,' in a flash

    NEW YORK (AP) — On a weekend in January of 2010, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios pivoted faster than even Spider-Man would dare.
    A fourth installment of the hugely popular Spider-man franchise was planned, with director Sam Raimi and star Tobey Maguire returning to their trilogy of films that had earned more than $2.5 billion at the global box office and generally been hailed as a standard-bearer in big-screen comic book adaptations.

    Zane Bennett Contemporary Art announces the exhibition of James Harvard, “Staying Ahead of the Beast.” This exhibit spans 40 years of painting with an emphasis on his “Abstract Illusionist” era, featuring paintings, archival boxes and sculptures dating from the late 1970s to 2012. The show opens Friday, with a reception from 5-7 p.m. at 435 S. Guadalupe St.

    An Art show/reception featuring the art of Traditional Spanish Market Artists who were former art students at Northern New Mexico College or are currently faculty at NNMC will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Nick Salazar Center for the Arts, Northern New Mexico College, 921 Paseo de Oñate, Española.
