    Wednesday
    The annual soup buffet and luncheon, featuring homemade soups, breads and cookies, will be from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the White Rock Presbyterian Church, 310 Rover Blvd. The event is sponsored by church women and church family. No reservations are required. Free-will donations will be accepted. All gratuities are 100 percent disbursed to several hunger relief mission project.

    Dr. Solon Pierce will perform at the Brown Bag Concert Series at noon at Fuller Lodge.

    The center is open from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and from noon-6 p.m. Wednesday.

    Music
    Lads of Enchantment, a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, invites the public to join them in song.  Besides the enjoyment of singing in harmony, our barbershop chorus and quartets experience the thrill of performing in the community. They meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursdays at the United Church of Los Alamos, Graves Hall. Attendees will find their chapter meetings are well planned, musically satisfying and fun. Visitors are welcome.

    Mexico mission

    Items are currently being accepted for the Mexico Mission Auction, March 6. The auction will raise funds to build homes during spring break. To donate items call 662-2971. The auction will be March 6 at the United Church. A silent auction will be from 2-3 p.m., with a live auction at 3 p.m. Donations can be made through Feb. 27 at the United Church is located at 2525 Canyon Road.
