    Art openings

    “Her Legacy: Generational Art and Culture,” featuring female Northern New Mexican artists will open with a reception from 6-9 p.m. March 2 at the Bond House Museum in Española.

    Zane Bennett Contemporary Art invites young art enthusiasts to engage with art in the “Under Thirty-Five” exhibit. Featured artists include: Dunham Aurelius, Tamara Zibners, Matthew Szosz, Michael Petry, Holly Roberts, Karina Hean and Heidi Pollart. The show opens with a reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday at 435 S. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe.

    The Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda, East Africa, will perform at 7 p.m. at Crossroads Bible Church, 97 East Road. The event is free, but a love offering will be accepted during the concert.

    Lads of Enchantment, a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, invites the public to join them in song. They meet at 7:15 p.m. on Thursdays at the United Church of Los Alamos, Graves Hall.  

    The Los Alamos Choral Society is recruiting singers. Rehearsals are from 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays at the United Church, 2525 Canyon Road. All singers are welcome.

    The Los Alamos Community Winds invites all interested musicians to join its upcoming concerts. The LACW rehearses from 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays. lacw.org.

Both are employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory and will address the students as part of the Ambassador Program, which is sponsored by the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board.
