    “Imprints of Home, Works on Paper”, is a group show featuring art prints, and poems by 12 artists. First Friday artist receptions, 3-6 p.m. July 19 at the Weyrich Gallery in Albuquerque. Show closes July 25.

    Zane Bennett Contemporary Art announces an exhibition: “Complications:” Works by Matthew Szösz and “Byways:” Works by Damian Stamer. The exhibition will be through July 19.

    A special guest exhibition, “Golden Paths,” acrylic and gold leaf paintings by Edwina Milner, will be on exhibit until July 7 at the New Concept Gallery. The reception is from 5-7 p.m. June 20 and is open to the public.

    A chapter of The Compassionate Friends will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the northeast side of the new YMCA Annex, Central Park Square, suite 140. Co-led by Eric Ferm and Valerie Wood. The organization offers non-denominational grief support after the death of a child. Bereaved parents and grandparents are welcome regardless of age.     The Los Alamos Photo Club (LAPC) meets from 7-9 p.m., the third Tuesday of each month, upstairs in Fuller Lodge Art Center. The focus of LAPC is photography in general. LAPC normally has one or two field trips per year and occasionally sponsors workshops and classes. All are welcome.   • Registration for dog training classes begins Monday

    Registration for the next session of dog training classes offered by the Los Alamos Dog Obedience Club (LADOC) will begin Monday.
    Classes this session will include puppy kindergarten, basic manners, recall and competitive obedience. Classes officially begin July 14.
    Class schedule, registration guidelines and registration form will be available on the LADOC website ladoc.dogbits.com and at the LADOC building, 246 East Road.
    Registration is first-come, first-served and classes often fill quickly, so timely registration is advised. Registration materials must be postmarked by July 7.
