    The Democratic Party of Los Alamos invites all Democrats to their monthly meeting 7 p.m. at UNM-LA in building 2.

    The New Mexico Consortium of Academic Libraries will have a ribbon cutting ceremony 6 p.m. at the Mesa Public Library. The event will celebrate the new collaboration between universities and colleges in the state to collectively purchase a set of databases that will provide students and patrons of academic libraries, with access to information.     The LAHS Naval Junior ROTC unit will have a brisket dinner on from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Posse Lodge. The donations will benefit former LAHS graduate, Lieutenant Micah Andersen, who was injured in Afghanistan. All donations will be made through Los Alamos National Bank into an account set up to benefit the family.

    The Republican Central Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in room 608 on the UNM-LA campus. All interested Republicans are invited. Republican principles and rules will be one topic for discussion along with planning and organizing future events.
