This month’s topic will be a second look at Pascal’s wager — is it a defensible argument for the belief in god? One of the members says it is, come find out why.     Winter Tree Care. 6:30 to 8 p.m. Certified arborist Laural Hardin is back at PEEC to talk about all the things you can do to help trees survive the winter and come out strong in the spring. She will cover topics such as water, tree wrap, and basic pruning. The presentation will also consider how changing climate effects tree dormancy, and what can be done to boost tree vigor and growth. This talk focuses mostly on non-native urban trees, but will include Ponderosa, Piñon and Juniper. $8 or $6 for PEEC members. No advance registration is required.
