A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MST SUNDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... 1 TO 3 INCHES BELOW 7500 FEET AND 3 TO 6 INCHES ABOVE 7500 FEET ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTHWEST AND WEST FACING SLOPES ABOVE 7500 FEET.

* TIMING... SNOW PEAKING THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING THEN DIMINISHING LATER TONIGHT.

* WINDS... BECOMING WEST 20 TO 30 WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.

* SNOW LEVELS... TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW AT ALL LOCATIONS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS... SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CREATE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ACROSS THE REGION WITH SNOW COVERED AND ICY ROADS AND VISIBILITIES SUDDENLY DROPPING BELOW ONE MILE.

SNOW WILL LINGER INTO SUNDAY OVER THE CHUSKAS... SAN JUAN... JEMEZ AND SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS FAVORING THE HIGHER TERRAIN.
