THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST SUNDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... 6 TO 10 INCHES... WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ON HIGHER SLOPES AND RIDGES.

* TIMING... SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF AROUND SUNRISE SUNDAY.

* WINDS... NO WIDESPREAD SIGNIFICANT WINDS ARE EXPECTED.

* SNOW LEVELS... TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW AT ALL ELEVATIONS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS... EXPECT SNOW PACKED AND ICY ROADWAYS. REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN SNOW ARE LIKELY... ESPECIALLY DURING THE PERIODS OF HEAVIER SNOW. EXPECT SNOW IMPACTS ALONG INTERSTATE 25 THROUGH GLORIETA PASS AND ON HIGHWAYS 64 AND 518.
