Joan Williams was the top predictor in this week’s Pace Race.
Williams finished with just a 3-second error at Tuesday night’s Pace Race, which was held at Cañada del Buey Trail in White Rock. In all, 24 runners and walkers participated in the weekly event.
The next Pace Race is scheduled for Tuesday starting at Brewer Arena on North Mesa. Race time is 6 p.m.
This week, the two best predictions and three of the best four were made on the 1-mile course. Following Williams, Michelle Jones had a 12-second error. Tom Sandford had a 20-second error running the 3-mile course, and Georgia Pedicini finished 24 seconds off her predicted finish time.
The fastest runner on the 3-mile course was Ted Romero (19 minutes, 30 seconds). Zack Jones was the fastest finisher on the 1-mile course (9 minutes, 46 seconds).
