White to speak at MOWW meeting

Chapter 229 of the MOWW in Los Alamos is pleased to announce Dr. Paul C. White, president of the Friends of the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge and retired Los Alamos National Laboratory physicist and manager (most recently Director of the National Security Office) will present a talk on the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge that has been described as “the jewel” of New Mexico refuges.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Best Western Hilltop House, La Vista Room, with a short social period and business meeting, followed by dinner. White’s talk will begin at 7:15 p.m.
The dinner entrée is chicken breast in green chili cream sauce with mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, side salad and iced tea. Cost of the dinner is $20 per person.
The Military Order of the World Wars dinner meetings are open to the general public for the dinner and program, or the program only, at no cost.
