Doug and Geralyn Hemphill of Los Alamos are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen, to Bill Nichols, son of Dr. Mike and Debi Nichols, also of Los Alamos.  
Kristen graduated from Los Alamos High School in 2005 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in nutrition at Colorado State University.  
Bill graduated from Los Alamos High School in 2002 and is currently enrolled in a pediatric dental residency program at the Children’s Hospital in Detroit, Mich.
The couple is planning an August wedding.
