The Anast and Christensen families are pleased to announce the marriage of Sarah Kay Anast to Curtis Eldon Christensen. The couple was united in marriage on May 28th at the Air Force Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs in an afternoon ceremony officiated by Pastor Jesse Taylor. A reception was held in their honor that evening at the Milazzo Club on the Air Force Academy grounds.
The bride chose her sister, Stephanie Anne Anast, as her maid of honor. Also attending as bridesmaids were Kristi Smith, Marit Hunter, Chrissy Christensen, Micaela Christensen, Katelyn Negrelli, Kara Misheff, Alissa Idler, Emily Fortgang and Emily Carmichael.
Performing best man duties was the groom’s brother Kyle Christensen. Justin Smith, Chris Hunter, Nick Anast, Ryan Combest, Nate Salazar, Ryan Zielinski, Jimmy Leli, Mark Gaudette and Kyle Smith were his groomsmen.
The bride is the daughter of Kurt and Cindy Anast of Los Alamos. She graduated from Colorado State University with a BS degree in Sports Medicine.
The groom is the son of Kirk and Gretta Christensen of Los Alamos. He is a 2nd Lieutenant and graduate of the Air Force Academy with a BS degree in Systems Engineering.
