Volleyball: Little, Espinoza named All-Staters

A pair of Los Alamos Hilltopper volleyball players were named to the All-Class AAAA second team for the 2007 season.Kristina Little and Vanessa Espinoza were both honored with second-team selections for the season for Los Alamos, while three other Hilltoppers earned Honorable Mentions.“I’m excited we got so many,” Hilltopper head coach Diana Stokes said of her team’s selections. “This is the most I’ve ever had from any of my teams.”Little was named to the second team for Los Alamos as a middle hitter, and Espinoza, Los Alamos’ libero, was named as a second-team defensive specialist.“It’s a great thing they made it on the second team, being that they only have two players on the first and second teams,” Stokes said.
