Northern New Mexico Fusion Volleyball will host a parent information meeting tonight at Mesa Public Library.
The Fusion is a Junior Olympic program sanctioned by USA Volleyball. It is for girls ages 11-17 interested in playing competitively.
Teams are grouped by skill level and usually consist of 8-10 players each. Most of the competitive season will take place within the state of New Mexico.
The season starts in January. Tryouts will start in mid-November.
Anyone interested is encouraged to have their parents attend tonight’s meeting, which will take place in the library’s meeting room No. 1. Meeting time is 7 p.m.
A short presentation on the Fusion will be given, after which parents may ask questions of the Fusion coaching staff.
