Los Alamos Public Schools Superintendent Gene Schmidt and others from the district will met with State Rep. Jeannette Wallace and State Sen. Richard Martinez Tuesday morning at Aspen Elementary School to discuss education and the possible effects that school districts around the state will feel should education funding be cut in the next legislative session.
A number of local officials were also on hand for the session that included Bill Enloe, Los Alamos National Bank; outgoing council chair Mike Wismer, councilor Sharon Stover, and school board vice president Joan Ahlers.
