ALBUQUERQUE — Tee Martin has left the New Mexico football program head coach Mike Locksley confirmed today.  Martin departs after spending one season on the Lobo coaching staff.  During his tenure at New Mexico, Martin coached the Lobo quarterbacks.

“When you hire good coaches you expect to lose a couple year-in and year-out,” said Locksley.  “That is part of this business and anytime coaches have an opportunity to move up whether it be financial or by position you are always floored.  Tee did a great job in his one year at New Mexico.  We wish him nothing but the best.”

Martin helped UNM implement a new offense under the direction of Locksley.  He managed a passing game that accounted for 2,581 yards and 13 touchdowns.
