Swearing in

The public is invited to attend the official “swearing in” ceremony for newly elected officials at 10 a.m. Dec. 21. in the Municipal Courtroom of the Justice Center. A reception with light refreshments will follow in the lobby of the Justice Center.

Republican women

The Los Alamos Federated Republican Women will hold their annual Christmas lunch/meeting, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ, 2323 Diamond Dr. New officers will be installed.

County Council

County Council will meet at
7 p.m. today in Council Chambers.

Relay for Life

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Los Alamos will hold a volunteer informational meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Comfort Inn and Suites, 2455 Trinity Dr. RSVP to gloria.martinez@cancer.org. Holiday treats and refreshments will be served.
