Toys for Tots
Help the U.S. Marines by donating new, unwrapped toys for their toy drive. Items may be dropped off at “R” wing of Los Alamos High School, in the NJROTC building by Dec. 3.

Fruitcake sale
Los Alamos Chapter #63, Order of the Eastern Star, will sell Collin Street Bakery fruitcakes, apricot pecan and pineapple pecan cakes from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday at Los Alamos National Bank. Fuller Lodge Advisory board meeting
The Fuller Lodge/Historic District Advisory board will be from 5-6:30 p.m. today in the Nambé Room in Fuller Lodge. Topics of discussion include the Fuller Lodge Deficiency Study priorities, the municipal building decision impact on archives facility and a review draft of the Fuller Lodge Historic District ordinance and guidelines.

T-Board meeting
The transportation board will meet from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Pajarito Cliffs Site building 1 conference room. The board will discuss the N.M. 4 roadway lighting designation, the Atomic City Transit report and other items.

Council meetings
The Los Alamos County Council will meet at 8 a.m. Friday at the Los Alamos Research Park for a pre-strategic planning session. Items on the agenda include a strategic governance and leadership discussion, defining the council role and setting the agenda for developing a strategic plan. The Los Alamos County Council will also meet at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Los Alamos Research Park for a strategic planning session. Councilors will be given a financial forecast by Chief Financial Officer Steve Lynne as well as overviews from the different departments.
