Chamber Business Breakfast with County Administrator Harry Burgess. 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday at UNM-Los Alamos, lecture hall 2, University Drive. There will be a 30 to 45 minute presentation, and then some time for questions and answers. Free to Chamber members, $10 for non-members.
The Los Alamos DWI Planning Council is seeking volunteer members. The DWI Planning Council works to prevent or reduce the incidence of DWI, the rate of injuries and fatalities caused by drug or alcohol-impaired drivers and underage drinking. The Democratic Party of Los Alamos is sponsoring a presentation by Maria Perez, a community outreach specialist with Health Action NM, 7 p.m. Thursday at UNM Bldg 2 in Lecture Hall 230. Perez will provide information on the Affordable Care Act. Public is welcome.
