Construction crews brave hot weather and dry conditions Wednesday as they work the construction site on Trinity Avenue, the future home of the new Smith’s Marketplace. Since the land is owned by the Los Alamos Public School District, the store will be paying $511,000 in rent to the district a year once the store is open. An official groundbreaking is scheduled for July 23.
