Gather in the fellowship of the worshipping community at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m., or 6:07 p.m. Sunday, when they will have a memorial for the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
Firefighters, police and their families from Los Alamos are invited to join in for worship, so the congregation can thank them for their regular devotion to duty, as well as for them being representatives of the hundreds of firefighters and police that died in the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers.
The women and men of the New York City fire and police departments, as well as numerous emergency medical responders, risked their lives to save others.
It is TOTH’s hope that through these services they will honor those who gave their lives in an attempt to rescue people who were trapped in the twin towers.
Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church is located at 39th and Trinity Dr. For more information, call the church office at 662-5107, or visit latoth.org.
