Fr. Colin Kelly will conclude a three-part teaching series about “The Bullying Effect” during the 6:07 p.m. Contemporary Service Sunday at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr.
In an effort to help curb the bullying problem, the New Mexico Legislature recently passed legislation, HM 25, to “Develop School Bullying Prevention Programs.”
Two girls that have been working on a classroom project on bullying, will present their findings.
Stories of bullying in schools, in the workplace and even in churches, are increasingly appearing in the news.
Bullying is a form of intentionally manipulating, dominating and intimidating to control another person. Bullying appears to be on the rise and many victims feel helpless in the face of these attacks. Kelly will lead attendees into a deeper understanding of themselves and their fears as they are faced by bullies. All are welcome Sunday nights at 5:17 p.m. for a meal and to stay for the service and teaching at 6:07 p.m. Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church is located at the corner of Trinity and Diamond Drive.
