Express takes 3-2 win
The Albuquerque Isotopes managed just two runs Thursday off Round Rock pitchers Zach Jackson and Yoshinori Tateyama, falling 3-2 on the road.
Jackson (4-12) scattered six hits over 7-2/3 innings to pick up the victory for Round Rock. Albuquerque couldn’t provide much support for starting pitcher Will Savage (10-4), who pitched seven strong innings.
Thursday’s loss, combined with an extra-innings win by Oklahoma City over Iowa, ties the two teams for the top spot in the PCL American Southern division.
