Albuquerque wins seventh straight
The red-hot Albuquerque Isotopes posted their seventh consecutive victory Monday, scoring two runs in the seventh to top the Oklahoma City RedHawks 3-2.
Center fielder Elian Herrera smacked a two-run home run in the top of the seventh to put the Isotopes up and ultimately give them the win on the road.
Will Savage threw six innings and gave up just two earned runs, raising his record to a spotless 4-0 (2.41 ERA). Scott Rice earned the save (4).
After a sluggish 3-7 start to the season, Albuquerque's hot streak has pushed it with within 1-1/2 games of the PCL American Southern division lead. It has taken the first three of its four-game road set with the RedHawks, who are in second place in the division. The series finale is tonight.
Following this series is four games at New Orleans. Albuquerque returns home Monday to host Oklahoma City again.

Isotopes second baseman Alex Castellanos was named the PCL's Player of the Week for game played between April 16-22.
Castellanos banged out 11 hits and posted a 1.120 slugging percentage for the week. He had four home runs — including a pair Saturday in a win at Oklahoma City — and drove in eight runs.
