Iowa wins finale, 10-6
The Albuquerque Isotopes failed to pull off the sweep of the Iowa Cubs to close out the season-opening homestand Thursday.
The Cubs scored five times in the fourth inning and three more times in the seventh to win 10-7 at Isotopes Park.
Iowa’s Bobby Scales had two doubles and five RBI to lead his team to the win.
Randy Keisler (0-1) lasted just 3-2/3 innings for Albuquerque.
(5-3), taking the loss.
Albuquerque will hit the road for the first time in 2011, playing three games starting tonight at Oklahoma City. They will visit Iowa for four games starting Tuesday.
Albuquerque returns home April 23.
