Riding in style
My wife and I paid our first visit to Los Alamos last year. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the scenery was wonderful and the people were very friendly. The only downside was the lack of public transport, which meant we were dependent on our son to take us wherever we wanted to go.
We are just back from our second visit and what a difference. Atomic City Transit is marvelous and gave us a great deal of freedom. The service is excellent and only beaten by the friendliness and helpful nature of the drivers. The only slight downside was the absence of benches at the Transit Centre-but I am sure this will be resolved before our visit next year.
Last but not necessarily least was our discovery that we could be temporary members of Los Alamos library. Very useful when you want to relax and have a quiet read.
Thanks again,
John and Vi May
