Most Los Alamos residents know Tyuonyi, the famous archeological site at Bandelier National Monument, but how many people know the smaller, lesser-known sites? Wednesday, offers an opportunity to join Bandelier archeologist Jamie Civitello for an evening stroll among some historical wonders at Bandelier that most people never see.

The walk, sponsored by the Pajarito Environmental Education Center, is the final in its Summer Sunset series. It will be about a half-mile round trip, exploring a variety of interesting sites and viewing artifacts along the way. The walk is free and family friendly. Meet at the Burnt Mesa trailhead at 5 p.m. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring plenty of water.
