I am writing to you so that I may express my most heartfelt thanks to all the friends, family, residents and businesses that came to my family's side in our crisis.
I am Bobbie Landon, and my two children and I lost our two pets, and everything we owned in a house fire on Nov. 27. As I sat and watched, as the fireman hurried to put out the fire, I could only think to myself "What am I gonna do?" I was lost. However, it didn't take long for all the love and support of this community to surround my family and me. It has been overwhelming, all the generosity that has been offered to us. I could've never foreseen all the blessings my children and I would be surrounded with after such a tragedy.
I wish I could thank every single person who offered prayers and donations of all kinds, but I'm afraid I would take up this entire newspaper. There are not enough words to express just how thankful we are to all of you. With all the help we have received and continue to receive, my children and I are able to begin to start rebuilding and healing.
This town is absolutely amazing. We would like to wish all of you a happy and safe New Year. And again, thank you!
With all our heart,
The Landon Family
