LA 9-10 All-Stars play tonight in Pojoaque

The Los Alamos Little League 9-10 All-Star baseball team will take on Pojoaque tonight at Pojoaque.

Los Alamos won its District 1 tournament opener Monday night against Española 17-4 to advance.

Tonight’s game with Pojoaque starts at 5:30 p.m.

Also tonight, the White Rock Little League 9-10 All-Stars will play in Santa Fe at 6 p.m.

Kinderkick registration is open

The Family YMCA of Los Alamos will hold its Kinderkick program starting Aug. 18.

Registration for the program is currently open and will run through Aug. 11.

Kinderkick is an introductory soccer program for children 4-5 years old. Basic instruction and limited games will be held twice a week for six weeks.

Price for participation is $30 for YMCA members, $42 for nonmembers.

Splash-N-Dash continues July 16

The Triatomics Multisports Club and the Los Alamos County Recreation Division will host the next round of the Splash-N-Dash series July 16.

Two training courses will be available. The short course features a 200-yard swim, 3K run and the long course is a 400-yard swim and 5K run.

The training events are free. Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
