Fencing classes start today at YMCA
Intermediate and advanced fencing classes will resume for the fall season today at the YMCA.
Classes will start at 7 p.m.
Previous fencing experience is required to participate in these classes.
Registrations are being accepted at the YMCA’s front desk.
Beginning fencing will start Oct. 7. Students for those classes must be 10 years of age or older or have permission from the instructor.
All equipment is provided.

Flag football tourney to be played in White Rock Sept. 20
The High Altitude Flag Football Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 20.
The coed, non-contact tournament will be played at Overlook Park in White Rock. The first games will be played at 9 a.m.
Price for participation is $100 per team. Teams must have a minimum of four women.
Registration is open at the Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center until Sept. 18.
Bodybuilding contest is Sept. 13
The Southern Rockies Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Competition will be held Sept. 13.
The competition will be held at the Duane Smith Auditorium. It will include competitors from New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and other states.
The show will start at 6 p.m.
