KRSN to broadcast Hilltopper volleyball final

KRSN 1490 AM will carry Saturday night’s Class AAAA volleyball championship match should Los Alamos advance tonight.Los Alamos will play Roswell for the right to head to the state title match Saturday. Saturday’s final is set for 6 p.m. at Johnson Center in Albuquerque.Gene Mortensen, voice of the Hilltoppers, will be live in Albuquerque for the final.

Turkey Trot set for Sunday

CROP and the Atomic City Roadrunners will hold their annual Turkey Trot Sunday.The race will start at the Los Alamos Posse Shack on North Mesa. Race time is 2 p.m.Turkeys and pies will be awarded to the best time predictors on the 2.56-mile course, and refreshments will be available after the race.CROP will offer T-shirts and sweatshirts for contributions to their organization, and the Roadrunners will give out T-shirts to qualifying members.For more information, call 662-5959 or 672-1639.
